Northampton Town have signed striker Matty Warhurst from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old scored 61 goals in 97 games for City's youth sides and joins the League Two club on a three-year contract.
Warhurst has represented England and was part of the Three Lions' under-17 World Cup squad in 2023.
"Matty is a poacher and a finisher, he has excellent movement in the final third and a terrific work ethic and attitude and what really stood out to me, right from our very first conversation, was how keen he was to come to Northampton Town," said manager Chris Hogg.
"There was a lot of interest in him but this was the club he was really keen to come to and that was exactly what we wanted to hear."
