The club officially confirmed the signing of former NBA guard Stanley Umude.
The 27-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Catalan club that will keep him in Barcelona through the end of the 2027-28 season.
BasketNews' Donatas Urbonas first reported earlier this month that Barcelona were pursuing a deal with the Nigerian-American guard.

The 1.98-meter player went undrafted in 2022 but has spent the last four seasons in the NBA, appearing in 49 regular-season games for the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, and San Antonio Spurs.
Umude averaged 3.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in eight minutes per game across his NBA career.
His most significant opportunity came with Detroit during the 2023-24 season, when he posted 5.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13 minutes per game.
Last season, Umude made two NBA appearances with the Spurs before spending most of the year with their G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.
In 42 G League games, he averaged 17.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, while shooting 41% from the field.
Across four G League seasons, he has produced career averages of 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 30 minutes per game.
In 2024, Umude was part of the Milwaukee Bucks squad that captured the NBA Cup, adding another accolade to his resume before now exploring a potential move to Europe.
