Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell a first-team star. Liverpool are there to snap him up.Liverpool are in the market for a winger this summer. The Reds tried to sign Yan Diomande, of course, only for the Ivorian to pick Paris Saint-Germain and somewhat ruin the transfer plans at Anfield.

They put an awful lot of time and effort into signing Diomande, with reports linking them dating back to November last year. It was a long, drawn-out pursuit and one that ended in failure.So what now? It's not entirely clear how Liverpool react to it all as the market on the wing right now is truly dreadful.
