LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers' free agent, has still yet to make a decision on what he wants to do. Reports had indicated that he could potentially make a decision in the next day or so, but James has yet to do so.
It's unfortunate that it's taken this long for fans, as I know many want to see where James is going to end up, but he's obviously taking his time here and trying to figure out the right plan. According to the latest report, however, three teams are now firmly in the mix and head and shoulders above the rest.
As of this moment, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Golden State Warriors are the three teams to watch out for.
“I did hear, as one NBA head coach — this is just the latest whatever I’ve heard — said Philly, Cleveland or Golden State is what they heard,” Marc J. Spears said, H/T Heavy. “And that’s what I heard, the latest thing, which means nothing.”
Out of these teams, and I know some might disagree with me because of how they've played in recent years, but I do think the 76ers are the best.
The 76ers have made some really impressive moves this offseason, mainly adding Jaylen Brown, and have three other really good players in Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and VJ Edgecombe. One could strongly argue that the 76ers have three legitimate stars in Embiid, Maxey, and Brown, so adding James to that mix would be very exciting to watch.
