Christos Tzolis has undergone half his medical in London today, with the rest set to be completed on Tuesday. Arsenal close in on completing a £33.8million move from Club Brugge. The Greece international will become the Gunners’ third permanent signing of the summer following the arrivals of Illan Meslier and the permanent deal for Piero Hincapie.
Tzolis is being signed as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who completed a £15.3million switch to Besiktas last week. The 24-year-old arrives after an outstanding campaign in Belgium, scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists in 52 appearances as Brugge won the title.
Since joining Brugge in 2024, Tzolis has registered 43 goals and 45 assists in 108 outings. He previously spent time at Norwich City and began his career with PAOK in Greece. The winger has nine goals in 34 senior caps for his country and faced Arsenal in the Champions League last season.
