Queens Park Rangers have been linked with a move for Liverpool defender this summer.
Liverpool are in the United States for pre-season under new head coach Andoni Iraola, blending senior professionals with academy prospects as they prepare for the 2026-27 campaign.
The Reds left Merseyside for Chicago on Monday, where they are based for a two-week training camp built around three friendlies – Sunderland in Nashville on July 25, Wrexham at Yankee Stadium in New York on July 30, and Leeds United at Soldier Field in Chicago on August 2.

Iraola named an initial 31-player squad for the trip, though six are current injury absentees. Goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros, defenders Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni, midfielders Stefan Bajcetic and Wataru Endo, and forward Hugo Ekitike all travelled while sidelined.
Several senior players who featured at the World Cup are due to join later in the tour. Ryan Gravenberch, Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz are among them, while Virgil van Dijk and Alisson are expected back in the second week.
The academy contingent includes Trey Nyoni, James McConnell, Lewis Koumas, Rio Ngumoha, Josh Abe, Luke Chambers and Calvin Ramsay. Two of that group, Chambers and Ramsay, are attracting transfer interest from outside Anfield.
According to The Athletic’s latest Transfer DealSheet, Championship side Queens Park Rangers are interested in Liverpool defender Luke Chambers. A number of clubs in Scotland are also interested in full-back Calvin Ramsay, the report adds.
Both players form part of a wider group of young Liverpool talent Iraola is assessing during the US trip, ahead of loan decisions later in the transfer window.
Chambers has progressed through Liverpool’s youth ranks as a left-back. A move would represent a coup for Queens Park Rangers, handing the Championship club a player developed at one of England’s top academies.
Ramsay, a right-back, joined Liverpool from Aberdeen but has struggled for regular first-team opportunities since. Interest from north of the border points to a possible return to Scottish football, whether on loan or permanently.
Liverpool’s pre-season schedule and squad make-up suggest Iraola is using the tour to evaluate his fringe and academy players before finalising his plans for the season. Decisions on Chambers and Ramsay are likely to follow before the transfer window closes.
