The Los Angeles Lakers have formally announced their 2026-27 preseason schedule, headlined by two key matchups with the Golden State Warriors.

As such, their road to a potential special campaign is set to begin in the preseason, where the Lakers have formally announced their schedule on Tuesday.
The Lakers will face the Sacramento Kings for their preseason opener at the Golden 1 Center on Oct. 5. It will be followed by another road trip to go up against the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on Oct. 6
LA will play its first home game in Crypto.com Arena via a rematch with Sacramento on Oct. 8, and will subsequently battle Golden State again in a marquee Las Vegas matchup on Oct. 13 at T-Mobile Arena.
The Lakers will wrap up their preseason slate in an Oct. 16 home game against the visiting Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers finished with an awful 1-5 record in last year's preseason. Despite this, the team completely turned it around when the games mattered, finishing the subsequent regular season with a strong 53–29 record.
Led by Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, the Lakers are looking forward to a new season after a major summer of changes and retooling for the entire franchise.
