In the wake of their strong and aggressive push, there have been plenty of significant doubts around the Cleveland Cavaliers landing LeBron James.

Primarily, several people around the league see a pairing of James Harden with LeBron as a bad fit basketball-wise, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer on Bleacher Report.
"A lot of people in the league keep mentioning that they believe there is a clunky fit between LeBron and James Harden," Fischer said.

Both LeBron James and James Harden are undisputedly considered two of the most ball-dominant stars in NBA history.
Ever since he entered the league, James has changed the game as a point forward with an immense combination of size, strength, and versatility in a 6-foot-9, 250-pound body, while possessing the elite passing vision, court awareness, and IQ of a floor general.
Meanwhile, Harden has established himself as one of the NBA’s greatest offensive engines, thriving in isolation while combining explosive scoring ability with elite playmaking for his teammates. His time with the Houston Rockets made him an all-in-one package offensively.
With superstar Donovan Mitchell in the mix, who is a well-known ball-dominant guard in his own right, it would be truly intriguing how Kenny Atkinson would let the Cavs function if James came home to Cleveland.
Regardless of what happens, Jake Fischer claimed that Harden will still return this offseason in a new contract with the Cavs. The 2018 NBA MVP notably declined his $42.3 million player option for the 2026-27 season with the franchise, and there is a league-wide belief that he is helping Cleveland to make enough financial room first that will facilitate LeBron's arrival.
Harden himself already made it known that he would love James to reunite with the Cavs for the second time.
"It’s funny and interesting that multiple people have mentioned to me that they are skeptical of LeBron and Harden fit. I don't think that's gonna be necessarily an issue here. I think Harden is going back to Cleveland no matter what," Fischer added.
"It's just a matter of what the structure looks like depending on what happens with LeBron and what type of other movement Cleveland needs to take care of."
