Jurgen Klopp is set to be officially announced as the Germany national team manager this week according to reports.

Jurgen Klopp is set to be announced as Germany head coach in Frankfurt this Friday, with the move now understood to be at the finishing line.
The former Liverpool boss is also expected to shape his new backroom team around a few trusted faces from his most successful years in club football.

Klopp is expected to bring Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz with him into the Germany setup.
Both men have spent years working alongside him, with Lijnders becoming one of his most important assistants at Liverpool and Krawietz serving as a constant presence from the Mainz days through to Anfield.
Lijnders spent a year with Pep Guardiola last season at Manchester City before leaving this summer but is now set to reunite with Klopp very soon.
Klopp has always leaned on a tight coaching circle, and this move would allow him to install a system built around people who already know his methods inside out.
Now BILD report that Sven Bender, the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder who won two Bundesliga titles and a DFB-Pokal under Klopp, is set to join the German national team coaching setup.
Bender later moved into coaching himself, including work with Borussia Dortmund and Germany’s youth sides, which makes him a natural fit for a senior national-team staff.
The former Borussia Dortmund man ended his spell at SpVgg Unterhaching at the start of July after two years on the coaching staff. He has also further experience as an assistant coach under Edin Terzić and Nuri Şahin at Dortmund.
Klopp meanwhile confirmed that he has reached an agreement with Red Bull to become the new Germany boss, saying over the weekend:
“I’ve reached an agreement with Red Bull, a very generous arrangement. So there’s nothing really standing in the way anymore.”
“Everything is heading in the right direction. After the [World Cup] final, we’ll fly back and aim to get everything sorted as quickly as possible,” he said.
