Club Brugge’s Christos Tzolis is on the verge of joining Arsenal and has already arrived in the UK for his medical.
Arsenal are yet to make the winger’s signing official after reaching a €40m agreement with Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, the latest claims from the UK state the Gunners are keen on Athletic Club star Nico Williams.
Both Tzolis and the Spain international operate on the left wing. The former will replace Leandro Trossard, who left the Emirates for Beşiktaş.
The Gunners could make advances for Williams if Gabriel Martinelli were to leave this summer. The Brazilian’s contract lasts until 2027, with an option for another year.

Sport relays claims made in England about Mikel Arteta’s side wanting the 24-year-old and claims the La Liga side are calm.
Last summer, Nico Williams came close to joining Barcelona before changing his mind. He turned them down and signed a contract extension until 2035.
There was a ‘soap opera’ a year ago, but that won’t be the case this summer despite the Arsenal links.
Last season, multiple injuries limited him to 32 matches, managing six goals and seven assists. He still made it to Luis de la Fuente’s squad and won the World Cup with La Roja.
Sport claims the attacker will go on holiday, ‘with a much clearer outlook regarding his future, focused on finally putting his physical problems behind him and rediscovering the form’.
Agent asked about Williams’ future
Radioestadio Noche spoke to Nico Williams’ agent Félix Tainta to ask about his future, and Sport have relayed his comments.
Responding to that, he said: “Right now, stay calm. We need to stay calm; let him enjoy himself and disconnect from soccer. What is meant to happen will happen. Stay calm and relaxed.”
The World Cup winner will meet his compatriots, Mikel Merino, David Raya and Martín Zubimendi, if he were to move to the Emirates.
