Everton Women have signed Jutta Rantala after triggering her release clause, following three years at Leicester City.
The Finland international made 47 appearances for the Foxes in all competitions and was their 2023/24 Player of the Season.
She has goalscoring and technical abilities, along with the versatility to play across the front three and in the No.10 role.
Rantala told evertontv: “I had a really good feeling about the club. I have seen how Everton plays so I am really excited to be part of that.
“I want to bring a lot of goals and assists. I am a pretty technical player, so I hope I can bring that and play well together with other players and show my experience.
“I play in mostly attacking roles: winger, as a 10 and leading the line. I would say I am good at shooting with both feet and I like to score from distance.”
Everton Technical Director, Nick Cox, told evertonfc.com: *“Jutta is a great addition to our squad and provides more attacking quality as the fourth forward to join us this summer.*“
“Jutta has an eye for goal and possesses the ability to find her teammates in dangerous positions.”
