Intermediaries have presented the star to Arsenal as a potential signing, giving Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta the chance to consider a move.
Arsenal have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato in what would be one of the most surprising transfers of the summer window.
According to the ‘Chelsea Chronicle’, intermediaries have presented Hato to Arsenal as a potential signing, giving Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta the chance to consider a move for the highly-rated Dutch international.
Hato only joined Chelsea last summer after making a name for himself at Ajax, where he became one of the youngest captains in the club’s history. Despite his age, the defender had already amassed close to 100 senior appearances for the Dutch giants before making the switch to Stamford Bridge.

Capable of playing at both centre-back and left-back, Hato has been widely regarded as one of Europe’s brightest defensive prospects for several years, with a number of elite clubs tracking his progress before Chelsea secured his signature.
The report claims Hato would be open to joining Arsenal if the opportunity arose, with the Gunners’ recent success and ability to compete for major trophies viewed as an attractive proposition.
Arsenal are continuing to strengthen their squad following their Premier League title-winning campaign and have already been linked with several defensive additions this summer as they look to add greater depth across the back line.

Hato’s versatility would make him an appealing option for Arteta, who values defenders capable of operating in multiple positions. His composure in possession, athleticism and experience at a young age have all contributed to his growing reputation across Europe.
A move between Chelsea and Arsenal would not be unprecedented. The two clubs have completed several transfers in recent years, including Kai Havertz, Jorginho and, more recently, Noni Madueke, who joined Arsenal last summer before playing a key role in the club’s Premier League-winning campaign.
At this stage, however, there is no indication that Arsenal have decided whether to pursue the opportunity, with the report only stating that the player has been offered to the club through intermediaries.
As the transfer window progresses, Arsenal will continue assessing their options across multiple positions, and Hato’s availability could present an intriguing opportunity if the club decide he fits Arteta’s long-term plans.
