CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Indiana Fever Guard Caitlin Clark will headline for popular video game franchise NBA 2K.
2K Games released the official cover art for the upcoming game Wednesday, with Clark as the face of the Deluxe Edition of _NBA 2K27_, releasing this fall.
“Being on the cover of _NBA 2K27_ is special because this game reaches fans all over the world,” Clark said in a press release from 2K Games. “To be the first WNBA player on her own global cover means women’s basketball gets to show up on that stage too, and I am proud to be part of that.”
The former University of Iowa legend is the 2024 Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year and a three-time WNBA All-Star starter.
The game is available now for pre-orders. The $100 Deluxe Edition will be available for early access on August 28 on PS5, XBOX Series X and Series S, and PC.
The standard edition of the game is $70 will be available on XBOX Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on September 4.
