Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has his sights set on joining Chelsea amid interest from Arsenal.
The 22-year-old had a productive 2025/26 season and played a key role in Bournemouth qualifying for the Europa League with a sixth-placed Premier League finish.
Despite this, he is eyeing a bigger club next term. Chelsea recently failed with a £64 million offer for Scott, and they continue to maintain an interest, as per Standard Sport.
Arsenal and Manchester City are also firm admirers of the talented midfielder, but Standard Sport cite that the former Bristol City ace ‘wants to join’ Chelsea this summer.
As things stand, Bournemouth continue to insist that Scott is not for sale. The midfielder recently turned down a new long-term contract with the Cherries beyond June 2028.

The Gunners have one of the best midfields in the Premier League. Despite this, the hierarchy are exploring a marquee signing who can partner Declan Rice next season.
Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes has been earmarked as the priority target. The 28-year-old has also given the green light for a transfer by revealing his wish to join the Gunners.
Still, there is a notable valuation gap between the clubs. Newcastle currently want a package between £80-85m to negotiate, which the Gunners have not matched thus far.
Arsenal have recently entered into formal negotiations, and we believe a deal could eventually be struck if the club come closer to the reported valuation in the coming days.
If not, they may have to pursue a different solution. Arsenal made an enquiry for Scott last month, but the Cherries indicated that he won’t be sold during the transfer window.
The South Coast outfit generally have a stern stance. Despite Scott’s apparent desire to join Chelsea, he may end up staying for at least this season before being granted his wish to leave.
