According to a report from [**The Athletic**](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7457941/2026/07/22/ayyoub-bouaddi-manchester-city/), Lille value Ayyoub Bouaddi (18) in the region of €100m amid interest from Manchester City this summer. The Moroccan international is attracting plenty of interest ahead of a potential move away from Ligue 1, with the Manchester outfit currently at the front of the queue.
City would like to sign the French-born midfielder this summer. The Premier League club were intially considering sending the midfielder back to Lille on loan for a season to gain more experience. However, they have decided that if they were to sign him, he would be best developing at the Etihad Stadium.
#### Manchester City impressed with Bouaddi
After an impressive tournament at the FIFA World Cup with Morocco, Manchester City have identified the midfielder as a priority target to bolster Enzo Maresca’s squad. However, it remains to be seen whether Lille will be willing to negotiate from their 9-figure asking price for Bouaddi.
