It's an important one, too. Andoni Iraola gets to work with his new squad for the first time as Liverpool's head coach, even if it's a massively depleted one.Depleted in two ways, even. Half the squad is missing because of the World Cup, with several starting-XI stars completely absent for now. Then there's the even bigger issue of Liverpool losing Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson this summer and completely failing to replace them thus far.Bet £10, Get £30 in Free BetsOpen an account and place a qualifying bet of £10 at min odds of 1/5 (1.2) or greater.18+New UK/ROI customers. Mor Talla Ndiaye, an 18-year-old centre-back who joined back in January, has an incredibly bright future and was expected to work under Iraola this summer. However, he was a conspicuous absence from the touring group. It turns out that the problem was actually, you've guessed it, visa issues getting into the US.Some of us assumed that might have been the case and now the Athletic have confirmed it. They've also confirmed that Ndiaye has been granted his visa, though, and will imminently link up with his teammates in Chicago. So that's a real positive. Ndiaye is a massive talent and one who could end up forcing his way into the first-team squad before long, despite his youth. This summer is about seeing just how close he is to doing that and we're thrilled that he'll get that chance.[embedded content]
