Liverpool’s pursuit of Bradley Barcola is shaping up to be an expensive one, with PSG expected to demand a major fee in the region of €150 million.
The 23-year-old’s camp had reportedly put contract talks on hold while he focused on France’s World Cup campaign, but now that the tournament is over, discussions over his next move with his agents will continue.

Fabrizio Romano, speaking on a live on X, explained that Liverpool’s interest in Bradley Barcola is more concrete than Arsenal’s:
“On Barcola, there is still a possibility for him to leave Paris Saint-Germain. I’m told this whole summer that he is not untouchable.”
“Many of you ask me about Arsenal, I stand by my information – they are not at the moment advancing for Barcola,” the Italian journalist explained.
“Not Arsenal… Liverpool are pushing for Barcola. Liverpool remain interested in the player and he is high on the list.”
He added on separate YouTube video on his channel that reports of Barcelona interest can be disregarded:
“Someone linked Jorge Mendes with Bradley Barcola as a possibility for Barcelona. My understanding is that Barcola is not involved in anything regarding Jorge Mendes.”
“Mendes is not the agent of Barcola, he is with another agency circle. Let me repeat, today, yesterday, last month… Barcola is the top, top target of Liverpool.”
“I know many of you doubt my information because it’s not everywhere, I don’t know if [the transfer] is going to be possible financially. What I can tell you is Liverpool remain super keen on the player.”
“Barcelona are not involved in this story.”
Manager Andoni Iraola as stated that the club is working on a winger signing and that he is aware that the squad needs someone on the flank.
It remains to be seen if that player is Bradley Barcola or another more economical solution like Maghnes Akliouche.
