Arsenal have confirmed that William Saliba will be sidelined for an “extended period” due to a back injury.
While the France international has managed to avoid surgery, he is still expected to be sidelined for up to four months, meaning he may not be back before late November.
The Daily Mail claim the Gunners have shortlisted at least five names as potential replacements for Saliba.
