Liverpool confirmed a season-long loan move for highly rated goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, who joins TSV Hartberg two months after his debut for Hungary.
Pecsi will spend the campaign in the Austrian Bundesliga, having signed for Hartberg where he is expected to take up duties as No. 1.
The 21-year-old was left out of Liverpool’s squad for their pre-season tour of the United States in order to finalise his exit.
Hartberg begin their domestic campaign against Imst in the first round of the Austrian Cup on Saturday before kicking off the Bundesliga season against Salzburg on August 1.

Pecsi is considered fourth-choice goalkeeper behind Alisson, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Freddie Woodman at Liverpool, having impressed staff since his arrival from Puskas Akademia.
Liverpool had made clear their long-term plan for Pecsi upon his £1.5 million move last summer, with it considered best that he spend a season adjusting to life in England before gaining further experience out on loan.
There will be no reservations about his ability to step up to senior football at Hartberg, having already played 70 senior games for Puskas Akademia and on loan with Csakvar.
Pecsi was also called up to the Hungary squad for their May friendlies against Finland and Kazakhstan, and came off the bench to earn his first cap in the latter.

“I’m very happy to be at TSV Hartberg now,” Pecsi told the club’s official website on completing his move.
“The club has a clear strategy of developing young players while also being successful – that’s exactly what convinced me from the start.”
Head coach Markus Schopp added: “I think it’s fantastic that one of the biggest clubs in Europe has entrusted us with one of the greatest goalkeeping talents again this season.
“That speaks volumes for TSV Hartberg, because they’ve always done excellent work in this position in recent years.
“With Armin, we’re getting my desired goalkeeper, who perfectly matches our profile.”
Pecsi becomes the second player to leave Liverpool on loan this summer following midfielder Kyle Kelly‘s half-season switch to Forest Green Rovers.
Centre-back Amara Nallo is also close to joining HJK Helsinki on a season-long deal, while midfielder Tommy Pilling is expected to make a permanent move to Slovakian side MFK Zemplin Michalovce.
Luca Stephenson has already joined Bolton for £700,000 and Liverpool waived a fee for defender Carter Pinnington‘s transfer to West Brom after agreeing a series of add-ons.
