Yan Diomande
Arsenal and Manchester City have signalled a willingness to pay a ‘nine-figure’ fee for RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande this summer.
BILD report that the Premier League’s top two remain in the picture for the 19-year-old star, who will command a €100m plus fee.
Arsenal and Manchester City signal interest
The newspaper explains that Diomande is expected to return to the pitch for Leipzig next week following his time at the World Cup.
But the future of the rising star remains uncertain. The Ivorian was already the subject of a €100m offer from Liverpool during the World Cup. This was rejected by Leipzig. The Reds are not the only side willing to spend.
According to BILD’s information, other clubs have signalled their willingness to pay a nine-figure fee for him. Arsenal and Manchester City, as well as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are among those clubs. PSG are Diomande’s preferred destination. They are yet to make an official offer for the winger.
That’s led his agents, Roc Nation, to put pressure on PSG to accelerate talks with Leipzig. They want to avoid the risk of another club interfering in the matter.
The newspaper even speculates that Red Bull boss Oliver Mintzlaff and PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaïfi may have held talks in New York when both were present at the World Cup final.

The reality, though, is that there is a window of opportunity for both Arsenal and Manchester City.
With nothing progressing with PSG, Yan Diomande remains in limbo.
Their willingness to pay a big fee should at least give them the opportunity to talk to Leipzig about a potential deal.
They, though, will likely need to convince the Ivorian into a move to the Premier League.
With his heart set on PSG, he is likely to keep aiming for that move. Indeed, his agents pushing the Champions League holders indicates as much.
But Arsenal and Manchester City are there, and ready to pay if he wants them.
