With pre-season under way and a new Premier League season creeping closer, opening weekend for Liverpool is just a month away and for the first time the league is planning on a series of fan events and watch parties across the United States to capitalize on the lingering aura of the World Cup.

For Liverpool, it will be event on August 23rd in Boston at the Fenway area’s Cask N’ Flagon. There will also be events in New York for Manchester United fans, Dallas for Chelsea fans, and Arsenal fans (and onlookers) will get to see the Premier League trophy in Denver’s McGregor Square.

“When we can take these exciting Premier League experiences to fans they love to celebrate fan culture and come together to watch their favourite clubs and players,” Premier League United States managing director Akash Jain told The Liverpool Offside about the summer’s undertaking.

“All of our ideas and learnings drove us to developing Coast to Coast. Having all 20 of our clubs is super exciting for us to be able to showcase all the unique traditions while celebrating the opening weekend.”

The league has set up a portal where fans can register for access and to get further details as they’re released regarding their club or local event for when the season kicks off over the weekend of August 21st to 23rd, when the Reds head to Newcastle to kick off their 2026-26 campaign.

“Various factors played a part in determining the [location for the] 20 teams,” Jain added. “Maybe an ownership connection or talking to clubs and targeting where their largest and most passionate supporter groups are, as well as unique venues and cities where there might be a growth opportunity.

“It was also important to us to work with our clubs to showcase the diversity of Premier League fandom in different and unique ways. Having Arsenal in Denver with the local ties they have there, Coventry City going to Detroit, Liverpool and their Boston connections having an activation just outside of Fenway Park.”
