Heat might already know LeBron James’ decision if report comes true

With the Miami Heat situation regarding LeBron James happening over the past 24 hours, there are some interesting ways I think we should be looking at this. For one, I genuinely think this could have just been a small mistake by the Heat's social media department, and things got out of hand.

Unfortunately, especially for Heat fans who want James to return, having plans ready to go based on a player's decision is very common in sports.

There's a reason why many media members already have articles and videos written for when James makes his decision, no matter where he goes.

However, the latest reports suggest that James actually had a decision made last week, and he knew where he wanted to go.

Perhaps the Heat were told that, but James wants to wait now because he was upset with the league and frustrated by his announcement taking as long as it has.

“Here’s what I was told yesterday (by a reliable source). Last week, LeBron’s crew was probably ready to make an announcement. … (James and agent Rich Paul) were probably comfortable making an announcement as early as last week. And then, people were telling them what to do. ‘Irritated’ was the word I was told, irritated by the commissioner pushing them (to make a decision). So that their irritation got to the point, they were like, ‘You know what? We’ll decide when LeBron is gonna tell everyone where he’s going. So they decided to hold back,” Andy Baskin said, H/T Heavy.

I'm trying to put two and two together here with the Heat and James situation, especially if this report is on point.

However, I have my fair share of doubts that all of this is the reason why. Only time will tell on that front, and even then, we might not get a full answer on why he's taking this long.
