With Pre-season officially underway, let’s take a look at who has joined the Blues this summer…
**Morgan Rogers**
The England World Cup wide man will join up with the Blues in a matter of days after signing from Aston Villa for a whopping £117 million.
Rogers came through Man City’s academy ranks alongside one of his closest friends, Cole Palmer before having spells at Aston Villa and Bournemouth where he gained invaluable experience across the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Premier League and lower EFL leagues.
He most recently won the UEFA Europa League with Aston Villa in a season where he picked up 26 G/A’s as well as winning the World Cup Bronze Final with England where he made 7 appearances and even assisting in the Semi Final against Argentina.
**Marco Palestra**
Palestra served as Chelsea’s first signing of the Alonso era, signing for £43 million from Serie A giants, Atalanta. Despite only being 21, the wingback has three seasons of experience under his belt for Atalanta, Cagliari and the Italian national team.
He has signed on a seven year contract until 2033, and will look to fill the gaping shoes of Marc Cucurella since his departure to Real Madrid this summer.
**Geovany Quenda**
19 year old Geovany was signed for Chelsea back in March 2025 but joined up with the Blues this summer after gathering valuable experience with Portuguese giants, Sporting Lisbon where he made 86 appearances, 16 of which coming in the Champions League.
He has signed an extensive eight year contract at Chelsea and has trained with the Blues this month and reportedly impressing his new teammates.
**Emmanuel Emegha**
Emegha is a 23 year old striker renowned for his imposing aerial presence and raw physicality. Emmanuel is a 6 foot 5 forward who has starred for the Netherlands national team, Strasbourg, Sparta Rotterdam and Royal Antwerp.
The Flying Dutchman scored on his Chelsea debut against Crawley this pre-season however it is increasingly likely that he will depart on a loan deal this summer to develop and give some breathing space to Chelsea’s highly congested front line.
**Denner Evangelista**
Denner is an attacking left-back who Chelsea signed this summer for £8.25 million. He was signed from Corinthians but will likely depart on a loan deal to adjust to the customs of European football.
He is, in fact, a cousin of the Arsenal star defender, Gabriel!
**Dastan Satpaev**
One of Chelsea’s most exciting prospects, Satpaev is a 17 year old tank. With 65 first team appearances to his name with Kairat Almaty and the Kazakhstan national team, Dastan appeared 12 times in the Champions League in 2025, scoring 4 in that team as a 16 year old. He has also starred 8 times for Kazakhstan, also scoring for his national side.
I was fortunate enough to witness him play against Wales as a 16 year old and he was by far the best player on the pitch, outdoing the likes of Brennan Johnson and Harry Wilson.
