Liverpool are expected to reshape their forward line this summer and the wide areas are under particular attention.
Liverpool are expected to reshape their attacking options before the summer transfer window closes. The Reds are searching for reinforcements following Mohamed Salah’s departure, while Federico Chiesa is also expected to leave amid interest from several Serie A clubs.
Liverpool had identified RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande as a priority target and offered €100million for the 19-year-old. However, the bid was rejected as Leipzig were unwilling to sell. The Reds have now turned their attention to alternative options.

Bradley Barcola, Yankuba Minteh and Matias Pardo-Fernandez are all being monitored as Liverpool continue their search for a new winger.
Another player under consideration is FC Koln’s Said El Mala. The 19-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists, attracting interest from a number of top clubs.
Brentford, Brighton, Newcastle United and Dortmund have all been linked with a move for the Germany Under-21 international.
According to Sky Sports in Germany, Borussia Dortmund recently submitted an offer worth €26million, plus €8million in achievable add-ons and a further €8million in more difficult performance-related bonuses. However, Koln rejected the proposal, believing it fell well short of their valuation.
Brentford made an offer of around €50million for Said El Mala at the end of May, a proposal that FC Koln were prepared to accept. However, the winger rejected the Bees’ offer, leading the German club to make it clear that they would only consider a sale for a similar fee.
El Mala has continued to impress in training and remains fully committed to Koln. He fits the profile of a modern wide attacker, combining explosive ball-carrying ability, one-on-one quality and an eye for goal.
His versatility is another key strength, with the Germany Under-21 international capable of starting on the wing, moving into central areas and operating closer to the striker.
That profile has made him an attractive target for clubs looking for young attacking talent with both immediate impact and long-term resale value. However, Koln are in a strong negotiating position, with Said El Mala contracted until 2030 and no pressure to sell.
