Donald Trump has made it clear over the years that he is going to stay close to the NFL, MLB, NBA, and most other professional sports organizations. In this Presidency alone Trump has became the first sitting President to ever attend the Super Bowl or an NBA Finals game.
One of the ways Trump has tried to remain close to these league is inviting the championship team to visit the White House. However, a stern message was just sent out to the teams who decided to skip that invitation.

Nasty Message Sent Out To Sports Teams Who Skip White House Visit With Donald Trump
It has become more and more common for championship sports teams to skip visiting the White House in recent years.
There have been a number of instances in which sports teams – or at least individual athletes – have decided against visiting the White House, regardless of whether Joe Biden or Donald Trump were in office. People don’t always agree with this, however.
Dana White, the president of the UFC, has spoken out against teams and athletes skipping White House visits. As a close friend and supporter of Trump, White is speaking out strongly.
“I don’t understand these teams that didn’t want to go to the White House. It is not about politics. Everybody knows how tight my relationship is with President Trump,” White said on The Pivot Podcast.
“It happened during the Biden administration, they say, ‘He’s not my President’. I have some bad news for you — if he is the President of the United States, he is your president.
“I respect the position, no matter who it is. You’re never going to agree with 100 percent of a president’s politics, but the majority of Americans in this country voted this person into office.”

Whether recent champion teams like the New York Knicks choose to visit the White House will be interesting to see.
