Vinicius’ current deal expires at the end of the 2026/27 season.
Reports of Vinicius Junior potentially moving to the Premier League have intensified in recent weeks. Intermediaries representing the Brazilian forward have reportedly contacted clubs to explore whether a deal could be possible should his situation at Real Madrid change.
Vinicius’ current contract runs until the end of the 2026/27 season, meaning he could negotiate a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs from January 2027 if no new deal is reached.

During his eight-year spell at the club, Vinicius has won several titles, including two Champions League titles – scoring in the 2022 and 2024 finals – and three La Liga trophies.
The Brazilian has also finished as Ballon d’Or runner-up and won FIFA’s The Best award, scoring 128 goals in 375 appearances for Real Madrid.
Despite recent speculation, Vinicius has consistently expressed his desire to remain at the club and commit his peak years to the Spanish giants.
“I enjoy every moment, I want to continue playing here my whole life, but I am also not in a rush to renew my contract,” he recently said at the end of May.
“We have an agreement until 2027, so until then we have a lot to talk about with Real Madrid, and Real Madrid with us. The club is calm about it, I’m calm, the president trusts me and I trust him.”
According to Spanish journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon, Liverpool would be interested in signing the 26-year-old in 2027. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring his situation at Real Madrid.
Vinicius Junior previously told Real Madrid that he did not want to renew his contract while his relationship with then-head coach Xabi Alonso remained strained.
The Brazilian signed a new deal with Madrid in 2022, with the details announced a year later. He currently earns around €18million (£15.8m) per year after tax, with his contract including a €1billion release clause.
Last season, Vinicius Jr racked up 53 appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions, scoring 22 goals and providing 14 assists.
He also represented Brazil at this summer’s World Cup, where they were eliminated in the round of 16 after a defeat to Norway.
