CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Brett Siegel of Clutch Points says the Cavs won’t be making any major additions to the roster to entice LeBron James.
Kevin O’Connor of Yahoo [had reported that James’ decision was being held up](https://www.cleveland19.com/2026/07/22/kyrie-anthony-davis-play-lebron-decision/) because James wanted to see if any suitors could trade for Anthony Davis and/or Kyrie Irving.
Siegel also said the Cavs have 2 contracts prepared for free agent James Harden---one if they sign LeBron, one if they don’t.
Siegel made the remarks [on his “Clutch Scoops” podcast](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jESQSX83CA0) with Tomer Azarly.
Cleveland, Miami and Philadelphia are considered the favorites to get James, who became an unrestricted free agent July 6.
