While some sources in Italy insist Roma’s Manu Kone is the main target, with the two parties reaching an agreement on personal terms, reports in England insist that the Tchouameni deal is alive and kicking, especially Samuel Luckhurst, who has been leading the charge on this front over the past few days.
The Sun journalist believes Rodri’s potential move to Real Madrid would facilitate Tchouameni’s exit.

The talented Moroccan’s transfer could be the spark that sets a domino effect into motion, as he would effectively replace Rodri in Enzo Maresca’s midfield, allowing the Spaniard to join Real Madrid, and subsequently freeing up Tchouameni for Man Utd.
This would be a dream scenario for United, as many fans and observers have described Tchouameni as the ‘perfect’ profile to replace Casemiro in the No.6 role. After all, the French international had already filled in the Brazilian’s shoes when the latter left Madrid to join MUFC in the summer of 2022.
Nevertheless, the former Monaco star wouldn’t arrive on the cheap, as INEOS must be prepared to make a £60-70 million investment, not to mention covering the player’s hefty salary.
