The noise around Mohamed Salah’s future has continued to ramp up ever since the World Cup ended.
Rumours have abound around whether he will continue to play in Europe, the Middle East (with Saudi Arabia being linked heavily with the Egyptian star) or in the United States of America and Major League Soccer (MLS).

Kansas City in the MLS reportedly offered a two-year deal to the Egyptian. Sporting Kansas’ new majority owner Peter Mallouk, whose parents are Egyptian immigrants, could also be a factor in the club’s pursuit of the Liverpool legend.
But it has emerged that Turkish giants Besiktas are his next probable destination.
Club President Serdal Adali claimed last week that they had reached an agreement with Salah but that there were issues with Ramy Abbas – Salah’s representatives:
“Salah met with both our coach Vincenzo Italiano and our Football Director Onder Ozen and accepted our offer,” said Adali.
“His manager also responded positively to our offer at the beginning.
“However, later, ‘transfer completed’ news started to appear in the media and his manager suddenly increased his demands.
“The manager increased his own commission to incredible numbers, about 35%.
“From our point of view, such a percentage is unacceptable under any circumstances.
“We do not believe that Salah is aware of these numbers,” Adali stated.
Now reliable journalist Ismael Mahmoud has reported that the president of Besiktas is doing all he can to try and sign the Liverpool legend:
“Meetings and calls meetings and calls. Serdal Adali, Besiktas President is pushing hard in the last couple of hours to get Mo Salah’s done deal.”
His agent, Ramy Abbas , has come out on X in the recent days and weeks to dispute the Besiktas agreement.
