Jaylen Brown's Bronny James comments resurface after LeBron signs with 76ers

LeBron James is joining the Philadelphia 76ers.

In an offseason that already saw them trade for Jaylen Brown, the 76ers have taken an even more massive step toward Eastern Conference title contention by landing the NBA's all-time leading scorer in free agency.

And with the signing comes a logical question: Will the 76ers trade for Bronny James?

LeBron's son is under contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, so it would require Philadelphia to send something in return to get Bronny.

And with that in mind, it's worth noting that Brown once talked a bit down on Bronny not long after he entered the league.

What did Jaylen Brown say about Bronny James?

Brown was at a Summer League game soon after Bronny was drafted and somehow was caught on camera saying something negative about LeBron's son.

"I don't think Bronny is a pro," is what Brown appears to say.

Brown did try to backtrack by later posting this on X:

"It's a flex to have your son alongside you in the NBA it reflects greatness and longevity ! Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth."

It's not even clear if LeBron will want the 76ers to trade for Bronny.

If they do, Bronny and JB might need to have a little conversation just to clear the air.
