Sunderland will face Liverpool, Leeds United and Wrexham in the United States over the next ten days.

Sunderland have confirmed they will hand opportunities to several academy products when they step up their preparations for the new Premier League season with three friendly fixtures in the United States.

Regis Le Bris and his squad are heading across the Atlantic for the next steps in their pre-season campaign as they face Liverpool, Leeds United and Wrexham over the next fortnight and the likes of Trey Ogunsuyi, Finn Geragusian, Tom Proctor and Ben Kindon could all earn first-team minutes after impressing within the Academy of Light ranks over the last year. Brian Brobbey, Nilson Angulo, Habib Diarra, Robin Roefs, Simon Adingra, Arthur Masuaku and Noah Sadiki will link up with the Black Cats squad following Saturday’s meeting with Liverpool after representing their countries at this summer’s World Cup finals.

Black Cats boss Le Bris will then be able to call upon the services of Granit Xhaka, Chemsdine Talbi, Omar Alderete and new signing Thomas Meunier when he returns to his home country as Sunderland face Ligue 1 club Lens on Saturday, August 9. A busy pre-season then comes to an end on home soil as Stade Rennais visit the Stadium of Light seven days later.

Sunderland have confirmed supporters will be able to watch their side’s progress during their preparations for the new season as their pre-season fixtures will be broadcast live on SAFC.com. Access to coverage of the remaining away and neutral venue fixtures can be purchased at a price of £30 for non-members and £20 for Black Cats members and individual fixtures are priced at £8. However, the home friendly against Stade Rennais will not be available with the United Kingdom, France or French speaking territories.
