Liverpool have been given hope of landing one of the world's best players in the not too distant future. The Reds are hoping to ramp up their summer transfer business over the coming weeks, with Andoni Iraola looking as though he will get the chance to put his own stamp on his new squad.
The Reds are hoping to land a top new winger to replace Mohamed Salah despite the signing of young Spanish talent Victor Muñoz, while Ibrahima Konate has been replaced by the pre-arranged signing of Jeremy Jacquet.
Other positions are also likely to be addressed, and the Merseyside giants will often be in conversation over potential future deals.

According to one journalist, Liverpool have expressed a clear interest in signing Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr amid slow progress between the winger and Los Blancos over a new deal.
"Real Madrid have interest in renewing Vinicius. Vinicius has interest in continuing at Real Madrid," said
Ramón Alvarez de Mon on his YouTube show. "These are the official stances, but at the moment there are differences to polish in one part or another. While Vinicius doesn't see an increase from Real Madrid, which is to say closer to Vinicius' stance, they (the club) dont see any need to meet, either.
"Vinicius' people, logically, have to do their work, knowing what the positions could be on signing Vinicius, in 2026, in 2027. Fundamentally, we are speaking about Premier League teams. Among these, there was a club that evidently responded affirmatively over their interest in Vinicius, but the numbers are with a view to 2027. It's Liverpool. If Vinicius is a free agent in 2027, it won't just be the Premier League that is alert, Bayern and PSG, I would imagine, are going to be alert."
Vinicius is out of contract in less than a year, so Real Madrid will want to address the situation quickly, but they are currently focusing on strengthening José Mourinho's new squad.

Few doubt that Vinicius is one of the very best wingers in world football. Carlo Ancelotti, who also now manages Vinicius for Brazil, said: "I had no doubts about how he would be coming into this World Cup.
"For him, it is an honour to play for the national team. He is playing well and he even scored a header, which is very rare for him.
"I knew all about what Vini could do. He is one of the best players in the world."
Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham has also said: "He's probably the best in the world for me.”
Elsewhere, Gary Neville also concurred in 2023, saying: "I think Vinicius is one of the best players in the world. I think he's absolutely outstanding. I think he's got incredible ability, he's got incredible pace, he's got incredible skill.”
