Liverpool defender has joined HJK Helsinki.
Less than a month remains until the new Premier League season begins, and with Liverpool on their pre-season tour of the United States under new head coach Andoni Iraola, attention is firmly turning to the opening day of the campaign.
There is still plenty of work to do in the transfer market after the departures of long-serving trio Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate at the end of last season.

Andoni Iraola’s side must also decide the futures of several other players who could leave before the transfer window closes.
HJK Helsinki have officially completed the signing of Liverpool defender Amara Nallo on loan. The 19-year-old will continue his development with the Finnish club after completing a season-long loan move.
Nallo joined Liverpool’s Academy from West Ham United in September 2023 and has since made three senior appearances for the Reds.
HJK continue their Veikkausliiga campaign on Sunday against Turun Palloseura and are also competing in the qualifying rounds of the 2026-27 UEFA Europa Conference League.
Nallo was sent off just four minutes after coming on for his senior debut against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League in January 2025.
The former West Ham United youngster suffered the same fate on his next first-team appearance against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup nine months later.
Since then, he has largely featured for Liverpool’s Under-21s, with his only other senior outing coming against Qarabag in the Champions League in January.
“The intensity in training was really high. It’s great to play with quality players. The level of demands is high. I really like it,” Nallo said.
“HJK is the biggest club in Finland, so of course I’m excited. I came here to win. I want to win as many games as possible and play as much as I can. Hopefully we can play for the championship and win the cup.”
