COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - NBA legend LeBron James announced his decision to join the Philadelphia 76ers Friday, prompting an explosion of reactions across the nation.
One of those people, Gamecocks legend and Philly native Dawn Staley, was more than excited after the announcement.
“We got the King! Welcome to Philly, ’Bron! Let me know if you need any spots!” she said in a post.
James announced his decision on social media Friday, saying it will be his “last decision,” and that it comes after he strongly considered retirement.
“I believe I can help make the Philadelphia 76ers a championship team, and I am so excited to energize a new fan base and start this incredible journey one last time,” James said.
