The Lakers guaranteed Bronny James' $2.3 million salary earlier this offseason, signaling their commitment to keeping him on the roster despite LeBron's eventual departure.
Speculation swirled that LeBron James could have brought Bronny with him if he had returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a second stint. However, that scenario now appears less likely, as LeBron chose Philadelphia and the Lakers seem intent on keeping the younger James.
