Yan Diomande featured in all four matches for the Ivory Coast during the World Cup, helping his nation reach the last-32 stage.
Real Madrid have entered the race to sign RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande. Diomande enjoyed a breakthrough season at RB Leipzig last term, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances after joining from Leganes.
The 19-year-old’s impressive form has attracted interest from several top clubs, with Real Madrid now emerging as serious contenders for his signature.

Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in the Ivory Coast international, who reportedly favours a move to the European champions. However, the French club are yet to make an offer that would convince Leipzig to sell.
Madrid’s interest comes after they reportedly ended their pursuit of Michael Olise, with Bayern Munich making it clear the France winger was not available. While Brahim Diaz’s future is uncertain at the Bernabeu, Real continue to explore options in wide attacking areas.
Diomande’s ability to operate on either wing, particularly from the right, has made him an attractive target for Los Blancos.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. the Spanish giants submitted an official €100million bid to RB Leipzig this week. However, Leipzig have rejected the offer and are demanding a higher fee to allow Diomande to leave this summer.
Romano posted on X: ‘Real Madrid sent €100m official bid to RB Leipzig this week: €90m plus €10m add-ons proposal on the table. RB Leipzig have rejected as they ask for more than €100m to let Diomandé leave. Real remain in talks. PSG, in talks for weeks but no agreement yet with RB.”
Liverpool were also linked with a move for Diomande earlier in the transfer window, with reports claiming the Reds submitted an offer close to €100million that was rejected. RB Leipzig value the teenager even higher and are reportedly holding out for a fee of around €130million.
The Bundesliga club remain confident of keeping Diomande beyond this summer. His current contract runs until 2030, and Leipzig are working on improved terms as they look to fend off interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
