Former U.S. President Donald speaks at the Sarasota Fairgrounds Saturday night, July 3, 2021, that was Co-sponsored by the Republican Party of Florida. Trump, 75, talked about MAGA and the accomplishments of his administration.

President Trump Calls LeBron James Racist

The President believes LeBron James is “maybe” more racist than he thought. The statement comes very shortly after James agreed to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2026 season.

When well-known White House reporter Peter Doocy asked the Commander in Chief for his opinion on the greatest G.O.A.T. debate in sports (Michael Jordan or LeBron James) the Commander in Chief made the shocking statement right from the Oval Office on Friday.

The answer Trump gave had nothing to do with rings, points, or talent at all, but with something that can’t be measured – friendship.

“Well, Michael Jordan’s a guy that’s a friend of mine. Play golf with him. He’s a really good guy.”

Then came his take on LeBron James the person.

“And I think LeBron is, maybe he’s a racist, but maybe he doesn’t like Trump. I don’t know,” 45/47 said.

“But I only like people that like me. So I’d say Michael Jordan all the way.”

Trump has picked MJ over LBJ before. There was a feud between James and Trump years ago. The four-time champion called Trump a “bum” for rescinding a White House offer to the Golden State Warriors.

James’ intelligence was insulted by Trump on social media a year later, which prompted plenty of support, including a comment from Michael Jordan.

In addition to supporting social justice and opposing police violence, James has endorsed Trump’s past opponents and said critical things about his campaigns.
