Tonje spent most of 2025/26 — his rookie season — on a two-way contract with Utah before he was traded to Boston in February. The **Celtics** decided not to give him a qualifying offer last month, making the 25-year-old an unrestricted free agent.
The 53rd overall pick of the 2025 draft, Tonje appeared in six NBA games with the Celtics, averaging 2.5 points in 7.0 minutes per contest. He didn’t appear in an NBA game with the Jazz.
