Everton are at Bolton Wanderers this afternoon
After a successful start to pre-season at Dundee, Everton are making the shorter trip to Bolton Wanderers for their second friendly of the summer this afternoon.
The Blues ran out 4-0 winners up in Scotland last Saturday, when strikes from Beto, Thierno Barry, youngster Harvey Foster and Dwight McNeil secured a dominant win over the Scottish Premiership side.
Newly-promoted Wanderers represent their next opponents, with former Blues youngster Steven Schumacher having guided the Trotters back into the Championship last season.
With a squad boasting several impressive performers at second-tier level, the hosts promise to be a tough test for David Moyes' Blues ahead of Tuesday's trip to Stoke.
