Arsenal are exploring a move for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, according to The Athletic.
The Gunners are looking to further strengthen their left flank after signing Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge.
Arsenal pursued a move for England international Morgan Rogers, but were priced out of a deal, allowing Chelsea to secure his signature.
The Athletic now claim the north London side have added Vinicius to their list of targets, although their ‘interest is still at an early stage’.
Arsenal have yet to contact Madrid, but the club’s recruitment team has approved a move for the Brazilian.

Vinicius is considered one of the best left wingers in Europe, having performed consistently at a top level for several years. His arrival would strengthen Arsenal’s attack massively.
The 26-year-old possesses blistering pace and incredible flair. He can also unlock defences with decisive passes while remaining prolific in front of goal.
Among wingers in Europe’s top seven leagues last season, Vinicius ranked above the 80th percentile for progressive carries, successful dribbles, non-penalty goals and key passes.
However, the 26-year-old ranked in the 47th percentile for assists and 26th for crosses.
Vinicius, described as ‘unstoppable‘ by Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti, could be tempted to join Arsenal, with Kylian Mbappe now regarded as Madrid’s main man.
The Spanish giants are still open to extending Vinicius’ current contract, which expires next summer, but are also determined not to lose him for free.
Should Madrid be open to a sale, Arsenal could step up their interest in the Brazilian winger.
The Gunners would still pay a considerable fee and offer Vinicius a lucrative contract to complete the deal.
