Monaco are expected to sell reported Liverpool target Maghnes Akliouche for between €50m (£43m) and €60m (£51m) this summer, according to The Athletic reporter James Pearce.
The journalist says the Reds do hold an interest in the France international, but he isn’t top of the list of options:
“I think you’d be looking at €50m-€60m [£43m-£51m] for Akliouche. So yeah, he’s certainly one that I say is a possibility, rather than a kind of definite they’ll be making a move for him.”

At the time of writing, PSG remain locked in talks to secure the 24-year-old’s signature, while Liverpool have yet to table an official bid.
The interest in Akliouche appears to be genuine, but there is no indication that Andoni Iraola’s side are prepared to go head to head with the European champions for the player.

Who could Liverpool sign instead?
Bradley Barcola still seems to be the top target, but his price tag and the fact that he predominantly plays on the left flank means he is by no means the perfect fit to replace Mo Salah.
Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo and FC Cologne’s Said El Mala are also reportedly on the Merseyside club’s radar, although there are question marks about their suitability too.
Barcelona’s Ferran Torres has been linked with a switch to Anfield as well as PSG, but the latest information coming out from Spain suggests that he has yet to decide on whether he will leave the Camp Nou.
