Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Axel Donczew, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Donczew, 16, is said to have already completed a medical with the Gunners. The midfielder has been absent from Cardiff City's pre-season preparations this summer after attracting interest from Premier League clubs.
Fulham have previously shown interest in Donczew, but it appears that Arsenal have now won the race to sign Cardiff's youngest-ever player, who featured twice for them last season. The Telegraph's Sam Dean first reported that Arsenal were showing strong interest in the teenager, who it was said would initially join the club's academy setup.
CAA Stellar represent Donczew. The agency's clients also include Arsenal youngsters Angelinou Pedro and Theo Julienne.
Reports about the deal come less than 24 hours after it emerged that Arsenal are exploring a move for Vinicius Junior.
