Everton Women defender Martina Fernandez has returned to Barcelona, who triggered a buy-back clause in her contract.
Fernandez joined the Toffees on loan from Barca for the second half of the 2024/25 season, later making the move permanent.
The centre-back started all 22 WSL fixtures for Everton in her first full season with them, and received her first call-up to Spain’s senior squad.
Fernández has signed a contract with the Champions League winners through to 2029.
