Liverpool’s pursuit of PSG attacker Bradley Barcola has accelerated today after the PSG winger rejected a new contract and indicated he is open to a move this summer.
The Reds remain firmly in the race for one their priority targets this summer, but any hopes of striking a deal have now been met with a huge reality check from the French champions.

Liverpool’s interest in the 23-year-old is well documented but PSG have consistently signalled that they are under no pressure to part ways with the player, whose contract still has time to run.
According to BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella, PSG want at least £140 million to part ways with Barcola this summer.
The French champions’ valuation reflects several factors, including the winger’s age, his status as a back-to-back Champions League winner, his impressive performances at the World Cup and the level of interest shown by multiple clubs, with several teams already making enquiries.
Despite that hefty asking price, PSG are prepared to sanction a sale under the right circumstances.
Liverpool will hope to negotiate the fee down should they decide to make a formal move, particularly as Luis Enrique has made it clear he only wants players fully committed to the Parisian project and will not guarantee any member of his squad a regular starting place.
For now, Liverpool remain interested, Barcola is considering his future, and PSG have made their position abundantly clear.
