Arsenal transfer news## Arsenal have been linked with a sensational transfer swoop for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr has sensationally been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, and his feelings about working with Gunners duo Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are abundantly clear.
The Los Blancos winger has swapped shirts with both Arsenal players in meetings with the two Gunners stars.
Saka and Vini Jr swapped shirts following a Champions League clash between the two stars back in 2025, with the Gunners running out 5-1 winners on aggregate.
In footage shared on social media, Saka can be seen speaking with the Brazil international, with Vini Jr clearly pointing at Saka to ask for his shirt before the pair swap.
A year prior, following England's defeat to Brazil at Wembley, England shared footage of Jude Bellingham greeting his Real teammate in the underbellies of the stadium.
The duo have a warm embrace after the game before swapping shirts, with Bellingham asking Vinicius who his iconic number 7 shirt was for.

He made it clear that Rice was the intended recipient, with Brazil winning the game 1-0 with wonderkid Endrick getting on the scoresheet as Gareth Southgate's side prepared for their 2024 European Championship campaign.
It's clear from those actions that Vini Jr rates the Arsenal stars highly, which bodes well for a possible transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta's side were sensationally linked with a move for the Brazil international over the weekend, with the Gunners exploring a move for the Real star.
Reports from The Athletic claimed Arsenal would be keen on signing the 26-year-old winger, if he does not agree a new contract with Real .
The La Liga giants would want a fee for the winger, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract at the Bernabeu and are not open to the idea of him leaving on a free at the end of his contract.
While there have been no club-to-club talks at this stage, the move reportedly has a seal of approval from all departments with the Gunners looking to strengthen the left-hand side of their attack.
Vini Jr has been one of the main men at Real in recent years and has made 375 appearances in all competitions, scoring 128 goals and 100 assists.
