The MLS side confirmed the signing today.
There was once a time when Liverpool believed they had unearthed one of England’s brightest young talents, but despite showing plenty of promise at academy level, the winger’s path to senior football eventually took him elsewhere.
After forging a successful career away from Anfield, including spells in the Premier League, Serie A and MLS, the 29-year-old has now completed another significant move as he returns to the United States for the next chapter of his career.

The move sees an experienced attacker head back to the league where he first made his name, with New England Revolution hoping his quality and top-level experience can provide a major boost to their attacking options ahead of the remainder of the campaign.
That player is Jack Harrison, with the Revolution confirming the signing of the former Liverpool academy winger from Leeds United.
Harrison has signed a Designated Player contract running through to the 2029-30 MLS season, subject to receiving his P-1 visa and international transfer certificate.
Harrison spent a year in Liverpool’s academy before moving to Manchester United to continue his development.
In 2010, he moved to the United States and attended the Berkshire School in Massachusetts before starring for Wake Forest University, ultimately becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.
That breakthrough eventually earned him a move to Manchester City, before spells with Leeds United, Everton and most recently Fiorentina.
New England Revolution General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer Chris Tierney believes Harrison can make an immediate difference to the squad, with his announcement revealed on the club’s official website:
“Jack Harrison fills an important need for the Revolution as we aim to bolster our attack.”
“Since breaking through in MLS, Jack has flourished on the game’s biggest stages in the English Premier League and Serie A, where he was an integral part of his Leeds, Everton, and Fiorentina squads. With Jack joining the Revolution, we are confident his creativity and game intelligence will help him make an immediate impact.”
Harrison also explained why the move back to Major League Soccer appealed to him after weighing up his options.
“As I considered my options, the decision to return to MLS and join the Revolution was the one that was most aligned with me. It ticked a lot of boxes that I was looking for.”
“I’m absolutely happy to come back to MLS and be back in Massachusetts to a city that is full of champions in all other sports, and I’m hoping we can bring a title here to the city of champions.”
Although Harrison never made a senior appearance for Liverpool, his time on Merseyside formed the foundation of a career that has since taken him across England, Italy and the United States.
Now, he returns to MLS hoping to add another successful chapter with the Revolution.
