Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea have also all made enquiries over the French youngster’s situation as interest continues to grow.
The report adds that PSG are open to listening to offers under the right circumstances, although they would demand more than €50 million to sanction Mbaye’s departure.
Such a valuation underlines just how highly the Ligue 1 giants rate one of the brightest prospects to emerge from their academy.
Mbaye is regarded as one of the standout talents to come through PSG’s renowned youth system in recent years.
Comfortable operating on either flank, the explosive forward is known for his pace, direct dribbling and willingness to take defenders on, qualities that have already seen him break into the senior setup despite still being only 18.
Whether Liverpool would be prepared to meet PSG’s asking price remains to be seen, particularly with their continued admiration for Barcola and other wide options.
However, this latest report suggests the Reds are doing their homework on multiple attacking targets rather than focusing on a single deal.
With competition from several European heavyweights and PSG placing a premium on Mbaye’s services, any move would be far from straightforward.
