Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has taken four Nigeria-eligible teenagers to Spain, where the Premier League champions are holding a training camp as part of their preparations for the 2026-27 season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Nigeria Football Federation target Ethan Nwaneri was among the players who boarded the team's flight from Luton Airport to Spain for the pre-season camp in Girona.
The England U21 international is joined by three academy players: forward Andre Harriman-Annous, goalkeeper Khari Ranson and left-back Josh Ogunnaike, all of whom are 18 years old.
Nwaneri and Ogunnaike featured in Saturday's behind-closed-doors friendly against MK Dons, with the attacking midfielder playing the first half and the defender appearing in the second.
The youthful side that played in the second half of Arsenal's 3-0 victory over the League One newcomers was captained by Harriman-Annous.
Arteta will use the warm-weather training camp to assess the four Nigeran teenagers ahead of the new campaign.
The Gunners will face Segunda Division side Girona in a friendly at the Estadi Montilivi on Saturday, August 1.
Arsenal will then take on Real Betis, Borussia Dortmund and Como in pre-season before the Community Shield clash with Manchester City.
