Liverpool agree terms with 'world-class' star as major signing moves one step closer - report

Liverpool have reached an agreement to secure a new signing in the summer transfer window.

Signing a new winger has been Liverpool's priority over the last few months, despite already securing the signature of Victor Munoz.

Liverpool have lost Mohamed Salah, he left the club on a free transfer, meaning the Reds need to replace his goal-scoring and creative ability.

Although they've already brought a winger to the club, Liverpool are looking to sign another, with the focus being on bringing in a right-sided attacker.

Outside of bringing Munoz to the club, it's been a fairly slow start to the summer transfer window for Liverpool. They need to get a move on if they want to improve on last season.

According to a report from Anfield Sector, Liverpool have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola in the summer transfer window.

It's now up to the two clubs to negotiate a fee in order to complete a deal, but it's a positive start for Liverpool to receive player buy-in.

Barcola, described as 'world-class', has found it difficult to make himself a guaranteed starter at PSG, so a move to a club like Liverpool could be tempting for him.

If Barcola were to make the move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, he would likely become an instant starter for Andoni Iraola's side.

With Barcola seemingly keen on a move to Anfield, Liverpool need to get a move on to try to secure his signature.

The Merseyside club needs to sign a specialist right-sided attacker in the summer transfer window, and Barcola could be the best player on the market.

There's no doubt PSG would sell at the right price, considering the options they have in attack, but he's still not going to come cheap.

GIVEMESPORT sources have claimed that PSG value Barcola at around €170 million, but it would be interesting to see if Liverpool would be able to negotiate that price down.
