One of the most in-demand forwards around has rejected Chelsea. He wants a move to Liverpool and he wants it now.Liverpool are in the market for a new forward but they’re certainly not the only ones. In fact, it feels that just about every major club is searching for someone to play on their wing.

The problem is that the market isn’t particularly good. That explains why Yan Diomande, someone with 18 months of senior football, could well go for €100m+ this summer - Real Madrid currently look like snapping him up.But Diomande was the no.1 pick for Liverpool, too. And Paris Saint-Germain. Manchester City and Arsenal have been linked, too. Chelsea are another. Bayern Munich...In other words, everyone is shopping in the same market. GambleAware.org£30 FREEL’Equipe reports that Bayern, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all interested in Bradley Barcola. Barcola is already at PSG, of course, but has now told the European champions that he won’t renew his contract there. One of those clubs will not get their wish, however. The report states that Barcola has rejected Chelsea and won’t consider them.Fabrizio Romano weighs in with a strong reason why: he wants Liverpool. Barcola views the Reds’ ‘project’ as ideal and wishes to move to Anfield if a deal can be found.Exactly how possible that is remains unclear. Nizaar Kinsella of the BBC reports that PSG want around £140m (€170m) for Barcola and that’s a price we just can’t see Liverpool paying.Anfield Watch first reported on a potential interest in Barcola back in April. Then it was seen as a ‘market opportunity’ by the club - and seemingly one they’re now ready to take.[embedded content]
